RSP/1B/1R: Grinding of cast parts
The robotic grinding station of the series RSP/1B/1R is designed for grinding cast parts. Link
The station is equipped with:
- CNC rotary table designed for workpiece weight of up to 3,000 kg
- 180° rotary table with hydraulic lifting and lowering of the device and positioning offset by 180° to the workpiece feed
- ABB robot type IRB 6660, 205 kg
- ABB Force Control
- collision detection
- laser distance sensor for automatic workpiece measurement after tool change, measurement of programmable, part-specific reference points before and after machining; finished workpiece measurement and storage of data as *.csv file via interface on IPC for documentation and quality control; laser distance sensor protected in housing mounted with overpressure
- measuring finished parts: automatic measurement of the machined cast parts after grinding process and before clamping and generation of a measuring report
- measuring accuracy with reference points +/- 0.1 mm
- tool wear measurement in combination with Force Control
- interface to the BDE system in connection with six potential-free inputs and outputs
- extraction and separation of stainless steel grinding dust with filter system with automatic cleaning
