RSP/1S/1B | The presented robot station is designed for the machining of spades and similarly shaped workpieces.

The machining cell is equipped with an ABB robot, a BSS10 series belt grinding station, an SS1 series grinding station and a stacking magazine.

The robot gripper grips the workpiece by means of a pneumatic clamp.

The grinding station is designed for the use of grinding wheels with a diameter of 450 mm. The wear of the grinding wheel is compensated by a CNC axis with 140 mm stroke.

The BEM Digital/Diamond measuring control integrated in the CNC control measures the wear of the grinding wheel with tactile probe.
