RSP/1B/1P/1S/1M: Robotic sharpening of knife blades – second hand

The presented robotic sharpening cell is designed for sharpening knife blades. The measurement technology and the software correspond to the current state of the art. The magazine system and the robot gripper are designed for grinding blades.

The cell was hardly in use.

  • sharpening realized alternatively by a belt grinding or wheel grinding station
  • polishing of the blade by a one-sided polishing station
  • measuring of the workiece
