RSP/1B/1P: Machining of lids

The modular robotic cell of the series RSP/1B/1P is designed for the machining of cast iron lids and similar workpieces.

The robotic cell consists of:

  • belt grinding station type BSS10
  • polishing station type P3
  • drilling station
  • rotary table for the reception of up to 60 workpieces

Technical data

  • robot gripper designed as a double gripper for the handling of two lids (inclusive change parts for a whole pot family)
  • belt grinding station BSS10 with pneumatic belt tension and belt breakage control
  • polishing station P3 with computer controlled axis for plunge grinding of the belt against the lid; designed with ball screw, AC servomotor and Sercos Interface
  • frequency converter for infinitely variable spindle speed of the station BSS10/P3
  • encapsulation of the grinding machine
