On 18 November 2025, the first Chinese-German symposium on technologies and processes for the production and processing of strip steel took place in Ningbo.

Seven presentations showcased the latest developments in the field of strip steel processing – from steel production and heat treatment to solutions for automated grinding processes.

With over 70 participants, including the political leadership of the city of Ningbo, the event was a complete success.

‘The presentations were of a very high standard and we were able to make many interesting contacts,’ says Marco Chiesura, Managing Director of the Berger Group. ‘We are looking forward to a delegation from Ningbo visiting our production facility in Kohlfurth next week!’
