HDS2 | The machining cell for files is equipped with a rotary table grinding machine of the HDS2 series, a robot with double gripper, a slide magazine and a belt grinding station of the BSS10 series.

The robot is used for loading, unloading and machining.The robot picks up the workpiece from the sliding magazine for flat material and places it in the rotary table grinding machine. Here, surface grinding is achieved on both sides of the workpiece.

The BEM measuring control integrated in the CNC control of the grinding machine measures the wear of the grinding stone and determines its remaining service life.

After machining, the robot removes the workpiece and guides it past the belt grinding station for machining.
