Feeding and separating bulk material

Berger Feeder | In processing cells for bulk material, the workpieces - in this case pocket knife parts - are fed via the Berger Feeder Transport System.

The sorted, clean and dry workpieces fall randomly - optionally from a bunker - onto the Berger Feeder conveyor belt, which feeds them to a camera measuring table.

On the Berger Feeder conveyor belt, the workpieces are pulled apart so that they fall onto the camera measuring table singly and without double layers. The workpiece position detected there is transferred to the loading robot, which picks up the workpiece and, if necessary, positions it in a centring station before loading a processing machine.

After machining, the workpieces can be placed on another conveyor belt at a programmable distance and position.
