The robotic cell is equipped with a hollow grinding machine of the series HG2/NT2-CNC and a sharpening machine of the series SM3-CNC as well as a stacking magazine.

The four-axle hollow grinding machine is loaded and unloaded automatically. Two cup wheels, set at 45° to each other, machine a double-sided hollow grinding at knife blades.

After the machining process a robot takes the workpiece and sharpens the blade by means of CBN spiral spindles. The cutting angle can be programmed.
