The CNC controlled precision vertical flat grinding machine grinds long knives with a maximum length of 4000 mm.
The grinding machine works with three axes. The A-axis is CNC controlled and at 90° rotatable. The X-axis has got a gear rack and is connected with a servomotor and a gear. The Z-axis has got an AC servomotor with a pre-stressed ball bearing screw.
