Under the motto "Experience, discover, develop - the industrial robot", the Berger Gruppe offered a course on robotics together with BeST, the Bergisches Schul-Technikum, from March 25 to 27, 2024.

Under the guidance of Yasin Yilmaz, development engineer in the field of robotics at the Berger Gruppe, four pupils aged 13 to 15 spent three mornings learning how to program and operate an industrial robot so that it draws the "House of Santa Claus".

"The pupils are super motivated and grasp what it's all about very quickly. It's a lot of fun working with them," says Yasin happily. And the feedback from the pupils is also consistently positive. "It's great to see that what we enter into the controller is immediately implemented by the robot," is the unanimous opinion.

Perhaps we'll see one or two of them again during an internship, as a working student or as an apprentice. We would be delighted!
