The CNC peripheral grinding machine achieves serrations on knives, surgical blades, scissors or similar workpieces with up to three axes in plunge-cut grinding.
In combination with a peripheral grinding machine from the KS series, the WS achieves fluted edge grinding on knife blades.
- CNC control with display for operator guidance / programming up to three axes
- Horizontal movement of the grinding wheel via servo motor and preloaded ball screw
- Maximum machining length 100 mm
- Simple, direct programming via the input of parameters / workpiece data
- Interval-controlled dressing of the grinding wheel via diamond-coated profile roller or programmable single-grain diamond
- Automatic compensation of traverse paths after each dressing cycle as well as adjustment to preset circumferential speed via frequency converter integrated in the control system
- Programmable process on straight grinding wheel
- Structure of the grinding wheel on a cross table for plunge-cut sanding and pull sanding (WS6)
- Cross toothing on saws in conjunction with vertical and swivel axis for saws up to 650 mm in length in indexing mode
