1919 | Otto Manderbach is founded. It becomes known as one of the leading companies in the manufacture of grinding machines for razor blades and similarly shaped technical blades.
1950 | In the 1950s and 60s, Solingen was the center of the razor blade industry. At this time, a large proportion of razor blade production was carried out on Manderbach machines.
When the razor blade market declined, blade manufacturers concentrated on the production of technical blades – and Otto Manderbach with them.
1970 | The engineer Werner Peters founds the trade company Werner Peters GmbH & Co KG. Initially, the company was set up as a contract manufacturing company. Later, the range of services was expanded to include in-house design, assembly and commissioning.

2007 | By merging the two companies, both product lines are combined and merged into a large product range of Werner Peters GmbH & Co KG. Through continuous investment in machinery and buildings as well as training and further education of employees, the company becomes one of the leading companies for the manufacture of grinding machines for technical blades.
2010 | The company is taken over by the Berger Gruppe.
