RAA | The process automation of the hardening system for garden shears parts takes place in two steps:
Step 1: Feeding garden shears blanks
The workpieces are fed by Berger Feeder with three connected feed belts and camera control. Robot 1 removes the workpieces from the Berger Feeder and loads the turning and insertion station. The turning and loading station is equipped with two Schunk parallel grippers for picking up two garden shears parts.
Step 2: Automation of a hardening system
Robot 2 is equipped with a gripper with a 90° tilting device to pick up the flat parts from the turning and insertion station and place them upright in the magazine cassettes in front of the hardening oven in two rows one after the other.
The robot cell is equipped with a feed conveyor belt in front of the hardening system, two stationary lifting devices, two magazine towers, a loading station including a measuring system for determining/measuring the loading position as well as infeed and outfeed conveyor belts.
