Strip edge trimming machine with one tool per side. The UNO is designed for deburring the strip edge and for achieving simple contours on the strip edge.
UNO: Deburring the belt edge
It is the smallest chasing unit with 3 tools and 3 rollers. It works by removing chips, with the tool arranged against the roller.
It is primarily used for deburring strip material and can be easily integrated into existing systems. The UNO strip edge trimming machine is often used in the press and stamping industry for deburring metal strips.
As requirements grow, it can be expanded module by module to a DUO or TRIO or other units.
If the production speed is high and/or the chips are thick, more energy is introduced into the process. A cooling and/or lubrication system will absorb the higher load. The modular strip edge trimming machine can be combined with strip surface treatment modules. The UNO strip edge trimming machine is often integrated into a complete strip edge trimming line as a pre-deburring device.
