Cup grinding wheels

Cup wheels are used in face grinding machines for surface grinding. Surface grinding is mainly used for processing flat and plane workpieces. Flat grinding can be achieved with both deep grinding and pendulum grindingThe workpiece is processed with the side surfaces of a cup grinding wheel. Depending on the diameter of the cup grinding wheel used, workpieces with a grinding length of up to 1,200 mm can be processed. If the workpiece is machined using the deep grinding process, a large amount of material can be removed and a good surface quality can be achieved.

Grinding wheels with 175-710 mm Ø are used.
