The DUO is a medium-sized strip edge trimming machine with 6 tools and 6 rollers. It works by cutting, with tools arranged against rollers. Depending on the strip thickness and strip material, various contours, bevels and chamfer lengths can be achieved. The DUO can be combined with surface processing modules. It can be easily integrated into existing systems to optimize the weld seam.

If the production speed is high and/or the chips are thick, more energy is introduced into the process. A cooling and/or lubrication system will absorb the higher load. The modular strip edge trimming machine can be combined with strip edge surface treatment modules. The DUO strip edge trimming machine is often integrated into a complete strip edge trimming line as the main processing machine.
