RSP/1S/1B | The robot station presented here is designed for processing spades and similarly shaped workpieces.

The processing cell is equipped with an ABB robot, a belt grinding station from the BSS10 series, a grinding station from the SS1 series and a stacking magazine.

The robot gripper grips the workpiece with the help of a pneumatic clamping device.

The grinding station is designed for use with grinding wheels with a diameter of 450 mm. The wear of the grinding wheel is compensated by a CNC axis with a 140 mm stroke.

The BEM digital/diamond measuring control integrated into the CNC control measures the wear of the grinding wheel with a tactile probe.
