DEB1500: Grinding and polishing of double-sided razor blades

The solid DEB series steel strip grinding and polishing machine is designed for processing the classic double-sided razor blade with three angles.

The system consists of:

• 4 single-sided pre-grinding stations
• 2 double-sided fine sanding stations
• 2 double-sided deburring stations
• 4 double-sided polishing stations
• Tool wear compensation with the aid of servomotors and NC control
• Monitoring the belt height
• Transportable dressing device for dressing the grinding wheels
• Integrated breaker with magazine for up to 400 blades/min
• Angle adjustable:
  3°-13° (grinding machines)
  6°-16° (polishing machines)
• Spindle drive 2.2 kW or 0.37 kW
• Designed to accommodate grinding wheels with a diameter of 160 mm and a width of 180 mm
• Spiral disks 152.4 mm Ø, width 127.3 mm
• Polishing wheels 150 mm × 50 mm × 5 mm
