Award ceremony of the “Smarter Flood Protection Challenge”

On December 21, 2022, the DIVABRE “Smarter Flood Protection Challenge” award ceremony took place at the Berger Gruppe’s premises.

In a small ceremony, Richard Meyes and Yannik Hahn from the Institute for Technologies and Management of Digital Transformation (TMDT) at the University of Wuppertal presented the three main winners of the challenge, Lennart Küll (1st place), Marius Graf (2nd place) and Niclas Grabowski (3rd place), with a smart home set each.

At this event, the Wupper Association, WSW, BSW, the Berger Gruppe and the TMDT Institute presented themselves as project partners of the planned “Flood Warning System 4.0” research project.

After a tour of the Berger Gruppe’s production facilities, the event ended with drinks and a small snack.
