AN INTERNATIONALLY POSITIONED FAMILY COMPANY
For almost seven decades, the six brands of the Berger Gruppe have stood for the highest quality worldwide when it comes to processing and finishing metal strips and workpieces. Almost 200 employees build CNC machines and robot cells for various industries on 9,000 m² of work and production space.
As a third-generation family business, the Berger Gruppe attaches great importance not only to economic indicators but also to other values, such as community involvement in educational institutions, the training and further education of future generations and sustainable business practices.
With 14 agencies and a subsidiary in the USA, the long-established company has an international presence. Today, the Berger Gruppe sells to more than 70 countries.
CNC and robot technology
The Berger Gruppe develops and builds CNC-controlled machines and robot cells for various industries. Every year, 10-12 new types of machines or new production processes are completed from a total of 80-110 new systems.
The focus is on household and machine knives, cutlery, surgical instruments, tools and cast and forged parts. At the same time, automation and process integration tasks are solved as a robot system house.
Thanks to the latest possibilities of broadband connectivity and digitalization in production, interfaces for Industry 4.0 applications with networked sensors, signal evaluation and integration of driverless transport systems have been developed for the machines.

Ecology, economy, social commitment
For the Berger Gruppe, the term “sustainability” has had a special meaning, and not just since the climate debate.
The company lives sustainability in an ecological, economic and social sense.
The Berger Gruppe’s commitment is therefore based on the cornerstones:
conserving resources, generating energy, investing in education and training.
Career
In six decades, the number of employees at the Berger Gruppe has grown from the original 50 to over 195 colleagues today.
We are a young team – one in four of us is under 30 years old – and are passionate about technology.
Diversity and creativity are important components of our profession. For this reason, we build our machines and robot cells with a background of more than 30 different professions.
