Under the motto “Experience, discover, develop – the industrial robot”, the Berger Gruppe offered a course on robotics together with the Bergisches Schul-Technikum (#zdizentrumbest) from March 25 to 27, 2024.

Under the guidance of Yasin Yilmaz, development engineer in the robotics department at the Berger Gruppe, three pupils aged 13 to 15 spent three mornings learning how to program and operate an industrial robot so that it draws the “House of Santa Claus”.

“The students are super motivated and grasp what it’s all about very quickly. It’s a lot of fun working with them,” says Yasin happily. And the feedback from the pupils is also consistently positive.

“It’s great to see that what we enter into the control system is immediately implemented by the robot,” is the unanimous opinion.

Perhaps we will see one or two of them again during an internship, as a working student or as a trainee. We would be delighted!
