A family business on course for expansion
The Berger Gruppe is a medium-sized, family-run company based in Wuppertal, Germany. With a subsidiary in the USA and 14 agencies worldwide, the Berger Gruppe is internationally oriented. It is the market leader in several market segments and has a global market share of over 50 percent in its market segments.
Every year, 80 to 110 machine systems are built and between 10 and 12 new types of machines or production processes are developed.

Mechanical engineering through the ages
Heinz Berger Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co KG, the managing company of the Berger Gruppe, was founded in 1957. Over the past seven decades, the company has grown steadily, both in terms of the number of employees and in terms of the product range and production area.
Over the last 25 years, under the operational management of Heinz Berger Maschinenfabrik
GmbH & Co. KG, five other companies have been integrated within a group of companies and merged as brands into
of the Berger Gruppe.

Our teams
The Berger Gruppe is a young team – every third person is under 30 years old – that is passionate about technology. Diversity and creativity are important components of our profession. For this reason, we build our machines and robot cells with a background of more than 30 different professions – almost all of them with a technical focus.
The employees of the Berger Gruppe work in the following five divisions: Work preparation and mechanical production | Service and commissioning | Assembly and process technology | Robotics and CNC automation | Electrical engineering | Design and IT | Commercial area | Slip ring production.

Check-up, service, optimization and training
Customer focus and sustainability are central to the Berger Gruppe’s corporate philosophy. This results in the pursuit of top quality machines and systems and the extension of their service life through repair and maintenance services. 14 service employees repair
and maintain Berger machines and integrate upgrades and optimizations into existing
systems – via remote maintenance or on site.
We are proud of the fact that systems installed more than 30 years ago are still in operation around the world today.
