In addition, an HSK tool-changing system allows for the use of additional grinding tools from a tool magazine, enabling the nearly complete machining of large-surface containers and large hoppers of various shapes using different tools. <\/p>\n<p class=\"_ap3a _aaco _aacu _aacx _aad7 _aade\" dir=\"auto\">For tool compensation, a laser measurement system and a force-torque sensor were integrated into the robot arm to enable force- and torque-controlled grinding and polishing of the outer and inner surfaces of the containers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Berger Gruppe has developed a new robot grinding and polishing system for large hoppers and large-surface-area containers with a diameter of up to 2 m.
